Community

We talk a lot about community in our world. That's because, often, our world is sorely lacking in community feeling. A person can experience isolation even when in a crowd; a person can feel unsure of how to find time for friendship in a busy world.

Our synagogue is known for its broad and deep community. This means several things. First, it means that people care about, talk with, and support each other. People here truly care about each other's well-being and emotional life. Second, this means that our synagogue embraces you even in the places where you might feel different, or like you don't belong. We have a place for you. Third, it means that we have a reputation for building friendships and lifelong connections. You'll love it here. And fourth, our community is empowered – we take lay leadership seriously, which means that there are real opportunities for you to lead and share your passions, talents, and time.

If you’re interested in becoming a more active participant in Tiferet Bet Israel, we’ll do our best to help you connect in a way that will be both satisfying to you and enriching for the community. Have a special skill or interest? Please contact our office (610-275-8797 or exec@tbibluebell.org) if we may help you get in touch with any of our volunteer leaders.
