PTO:

What does the PTO do?

• The PTO is the connection between parents and the TBI ECEC community. PTO gives you the opportunity to volunteer to enhance your child's experience at TBI and raise funds to support the school.
• We organize, implement, and frequently fund school and social programming for families such as BINGO Night, Family Shabbat Dinners, Snack n' Schmooze, Parents' Night Out, School Day Off events, Bike Day, Hot Lunch and Entertainment and others.
• We enhance the physical environment of the school for the children. The PTO is responsible, in part, for the 2-year-old playground. The PTO has also donated funds to replace the building's laminator and purchase books and classroom materials.
• We faciliate monetary and other donations to the ECEC and greater synagogue community. PTO provided scholarship money for families in need and gave meritorious bonuses to all of the ECEC teachers and administrative staff.
• We coordinate weekly challah delivery for ECEC families to make welcoming Shabbat easy. We also provide challah to TBI's Hesed committee for families in need.
